Tsemppari Employment Coaching
The Tsemppari Employment Coaching project supports the employment and integration of migrants in Vantaa through culturally and linguistically informed job search guidance. It helps participants understand their opportunities in the Finnish labor market and make their skills visible in ways that suit local employers.
Participants receive support to find jobs, explore study opportunities, and learn Finnish work culture, with guidance provided in Ukrainian, Russian, and Arabic on CV and job application preparation, interview skills, and understanding work rights.
The project provides both individual and group coaching, offering practical job search guidance, encouragement, and help in navigating Finnish systems and services. It promotes confidence in using public services and understanding work rights and responsibilities, while helping participants connect with local networks, employers, and education providers.
The service operates from an office located atLeinikkitie 22 A, 01350 Vantaa, 2nd floor, where jobseekers are welcome to visit Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 15:00.
The service is delivered in close collaboration with the City of Vantaa and Startup Refugees ensuring accessible and inclusive support for migrants who are building their careers and lives in Finland.
Developed by the City of Vantaa over the past nine years, the Tsemppari model strengthens cooperation between authorities and NGOs to provide inclusive support for migrants’ employment and integration into Finnish society.
