In honour of Startup Refugees’ 10th anniversary, the Startup Refugees Business Grant returns for its 4th round with the largest fund so far. This year, 3-5 newcomer entrepreneurs will be awarded grants ranging from 5000 to 10 000 euros to help them start or grow their businesses in Finland.

In previous years, the grant was mainly for those who had completed our entrepreneurship course. In 2025, we are opening the opportunity more widely. The grant is now available to all refugee and migrant entrepreneurs who have been in Finland for less than ten years. By widening the scope, we want to make sure more ideas, more voices and more entrepreneurial energy can be supported.

The Startup Refugees Business Grant is possible thanks to the generous support of Tietoevry, Relex Foundation and Saber Kodrestanchi, CSO & Co-founder at Hostaway, and a Startup Refugees’ board member. All of whom share our belief in the power of entrepreneurship to create opportunities and build inclusive society. This year’s fund is not only bigger than before, it is also an investment in the future of newcomer entrepreneurship in Finland.

Applications for the 4th fund are open from 5.9. to 30.9.2025.
