If you answered yes to any of these questions, we have good news: Startup Refugees Entrepreneurship Courses are for you! These courses are tailored for immigrants who live in Finland and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Crash Course to Entrepreneurship

  • Learn the basics of starting and running a business in Finland
  • Receive insights into the business ecosystem
  • Develop your entrepreneurial mindset and skills
  • Grow your professional network

The course includes workshops, small home assignments, and group work (15 h total). The online workshops are organized in the evenings to allow participants to work or study full-time at the same time. Completing the course satisfactorily grants you a certificate and eligibility to apply to our Incubator program (see below).

Entrepreneurship Academy

  • Turn your business idea into a sustainable business with practical support. During the program, you will work on customer research, testing and validating your idea, marketing, sales, financial planning, business planning, and pitching—while receiving support from business coaches, mentors, and fellow entrepreneurs. The program combines live online workshops, peer learning, practical exercises, and digital learning resources.
  • The program includes approximately 123 hours of work, including 1–2 weekly online sessions and independent learning assignments.
  • To be eligible to apply, you need to have a business idea and must be a graduate of our Crash Course to Entrepreneurship or a similar course organized by another entity.

Growth Program

  • The Growth Program is for those who have a registered business they want to grow—whether by expanding their range of services, increasing revenue, adding new operations or products, or reaching new geographical areas or customer groups.
  • This 9-month program includes workshops and online sessions, a large kick-off and closing event, intensive mentoring days with several hand-picked experts, and personal support from our business coaches. The program is organized in collaboration with KasvuOpen.
